Quality Control of Drugs, Cosmetics and Food Supplements Laboratory

Mission: Protection of public health in relation to quality, safety of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food supplements. Objectives: Pharmaceuticals: - Protection of public health in relation to quality, safety and efficiency of pharmaceutical products. - Help the rational development of Trade and Pharmaceutical Industry and to enhance the competitiveness of their products. -Upgrade the services provided by the Laboratory, through its participation in the European Network of Official Medicines Laboratories (OMCL Network). - Provide advice and reliable laboratory data to the Drug Council for support and implementation of policy decisions and administration. Cosmetics and food supplements: - Protection of public health in relation to quality and safety.
