GENERAL INFORMATION

Description and purpose of the Research Infrastructure
Mission: Forensic Science and Toxicology Laboratory supports the police in combating crime and the administration of justice with scientific evidence to the Court. Objectives: The aim of the laboratory is to support the police in combating crime, the administration of justice with scientific evidence to the Court and the support of doctors in treating poisoning incidents handled by the Emergency and Intensive Care Departments of the Cyprus Hospitals. Furthermore, the laboratory supports the Customs Services providing information and analysis of imported illegal substances.
