Description and purpose of the Research Infrastructure
Mission: Food Authenticity Lab can provide robust information on the authenticity of wines, spirits, vinegars, honeys and other food roduct, using Stable isotopic techniques (SNIF-NMR and IR-MS).
Objectives: The aim of the laboratory is to support the authenticity of food and beverages. Food Authenticity plays an integral part of food fraud, food control and promotes specific characteristics of food.
