Mission: to support the Cyprus government, local authorities and architecture-relevant business sector in understanding complex urban heritage conditions and to monitor transformations by designing effective and flexible digital solutions; as well as to promote education on architectural heritage and historic urban digital transitions.
Objectives:
Develop tools to safeguard heritage threatened by neglect, decay, climate:
• To accelerate research in immersive visualization and interactive narratives of archaeology and architectural heritage.
• To bring together tangible, intangible heritage and archival content through digital twins and to address the challenges of uncertainty in data representation.
Effective regeneration strategies to enhance city resilience to current /expected challenges
• To simulate complex environments for studying the past, understanding the present and exploring the future states of historic cities, neighbourhoods and monuments.
