Dietary risk assessment model, ImproRisk

The ImproRisk model is an open access online model for conducting chronic dietary exposure assessment to chemical substances, which was developed by the State General Laboratory (SGL). ImproRisk is a web application in the statistical computing language R. It is a simple, transparent and easily accessible tool for conducting accurate dietary exposure assessments at national level. Aiming to harmonization and standardization, the model has been designed and developed in such a way as to accept analytical and consumption data, coded according to the food classification and description system FoodEx2, developed and maintained by EFSA. ImproRisk supports the loading of individual Food Consumption datasets, with a focus on EU Menu dietary surveys.
