Analyzes samples received by the National Plant Protection Organization (Department of Agriculture) and the Forestry Department . The analyses aim in the detection of bacteria, viruses, phytoplasmata, insects, mites and nematodes of agricultural importance or classified as quarantine organisms. Additionally, as a National Reference Lab in the above mentioned categories, we participate in all European Reference Laboratory (EURL) activities such as workshops, proficiency tests and trainings.
